The 7th Chilean Graduate Conference in Melbourne, Australia, is designed to represent the high diversity of disciplinary research areas in which Chilean graduate students and researchers are working in Australia.
· Natural sciences
· Engineering and technology
· Biomedical sciences
· Agricultural sciences
· Social sciences
· Art, education and humanities
The application of the research and academic work is also broadly inclusive for the conference, considering research impact on government, industry, and/or society.
Why is important to participate?
The conference is the best opportunity for creating networks and meeting other colleagues that have a similar academic or professional career in Chile and Australia, which is an opportunity for establishing collaborative links for future work and research. It is also an opportunity to present your research or study in a friendly environment, which increases its visualisation and showcases your profile to other Chilean researchers. The abstract submission includes a feedback process that emulates the common practices of discipline-based conferences, giving you an opportunity to learn, test your writing, speaking and presenting skills, and receive valuable feedback. The CGC is the opportunity to meet other Chileans that are in similar student societies and associations throughout Australia.
Booklet and registration material process
A booklet with all the selected abstracts will be digitally distributed for the conference. The authors’ 100-words biography and photo will be included to improve visualisation and networking between the attendees. This is also important for future referencing in Chile.
